The Facts About Ukraine
This nation is in the process of regaining its stability and securing a more promising future for its citizens. The people of Ukraine are determined, hospitable, and hard working, but many still struggle with emotional hurts.
In Ukraine:
• Alcoholism is a struggle for more than 20% of the population.
• Drug Addiction is a problem for more than 600,000 people.
• HIV/AIDS has the largest growth rate in all of Europe (1.4% of population are infected).
• Divorce rates are estimated between 65-80%, with many children growing up fatherless.
• Sexual Abuse is far too common
• Abortion rates are the highest in the world, especially among teenagers.
• Orphaned children number over 100,000.
As a counseling ministry, we desire to see God restore hope to all of these individuals, helping them realize they are made in His image and exceedingly valuable.
We believe from this understanding, they will receive revelation and healing in their lives.
